Moved to Tokyo because New York is too small, prefer "Mikie" to "Mike", can fix nearly anything, and never let school interfere with my education.

Speak Japanese and Spanish, and college French. Learned guitar at 12 and like to play the blues. Collect art, especially of my friends Miguel Conde, El Hortelano, Ouka Leele, and John Wellington.

Had a venture called Smart Systems. Useta build industrial buildings in New Jersey. Last project was SciPark, a laboratory development near Princeton.

Wrote some memoirs.

Play Go (4-5 dan US), and helped found Good Move Press, which first published the Learn to Play Go series.
